All programs are held at the Jessie Brock Community Center, 310 N Dillard Street, unless otherwise noted.

Summer Day Camp Registration

Summer Day Camp 2020 is upon us! Registration will be available online as well as in office. To avoid any registration issues, please contact the center to verify your camper’s information by March 31st. Payment for the first week is due at time of registration. Camp is offered from June 1 – July 31. Space is extremely limited.

  • City Residents April 8 – May 1
  • Nonresidents April 15 – May 1
  • (First week’s payment due at registration)
  • Camp is open to children entering 1st through 8th grade

** At this time we are unsure of any future developments regarding COVID19 and program closures but are continuing with registration as planned. We will continue to monitor any future developments and Orange County Public School schedule and notify all program participants in the event we are unable to host camp this summer.

Summer Day Camp Counselor-In-Training Program

The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is specifically designed to develop the skills needed to be a positive leader and role model in the summer day camp. All interested teens must apply and interview for an opportunity to participate in this program. Upon selection, all CIT’s will be finger printed and complete a background check prior to the start of the program. All fees associated with these screenings are included with the registration fee. 

  • June 1 – July 31
  • 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • 14*– 16 (*Eligible CIT’s must be 14 by June 1, 2020 and entering 9th Grade)
  • $200 new CIT supply fee
  • $100 returning CIT’s supply fee
  • $25 per week per CIT
