Winter Garden’s school system is governed by Orange County. Winter Garden is home to eight public schools, two private schools and a technical school providing skills training in a number of our emerging industries. Orange County Public Schools is the 12 th largest school district in Florida. In addition to operating 102 elementary, 29 middle and 22 high schools, Orange County Public Schools operates four alternative/exception facilities, and 19 technical education centers and adult and community education centers.

Westside Technical School is located on Story Road in Winter Garden and offers over 24 full- and part-time academic and technical programs, evening classes and classes at four Adult Community Centers. In addition to offering non-traditional programs, Westside Technical offers training in the following clusters: Agricultural and Natural Resources, Business and Administrative Services, Construction, Health Services, Human Services and Information Technology Services.
